Job Summary : Echelon is looking for an IT Service Manager to join our team. The IT Service Administrator's primary responsibilities are to engineer, manage, improve, deploy and oversee all service delivery, lead cross functional projects, manage partner / vendor relationships, assist with business process improvements, and help add business value through technology. You will be an ambassador for the service, working across IT to provide effective communication on production environment matters and build relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between departments.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead and participate in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives
- Manage service desk, and providers / vendors as needed within IT infrastructure
- Promotes policies / procedure evaluations and development; and documents expected benefits (cost and savings). Coordinates implementation of procedure and policy changes to appropriate areas; reports on expected versus actual benefits
- Serve as a point of contact for project teams, when multiple practices and / or departments are allocated to the same project, to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Makes complex judgments and takes any reasonable action required to accomplish agreed to project objectives under very limited guidance.
