Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining a secure environment. The Armed Security Officer will utilize their skills in surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention to uphold the highest standards of safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and vehicles as needed.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance in emergency situations when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as required during incidents or investigations.
• Document all incidents accurately in reports for future reference.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills in conflict management and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Valid armed security officer license or certification as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating surveillance systems (CCTV) and understanding security protocols.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass background checks and any required pre-employment screenings.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
