This role is responsible for designing and managing product labels, maintaining compliance, coordinating packaging supply inventory, and ensuring smooth packaging operations. Additionally, the role includes website maintenance, supplier management, and collaboration with designers and photographers to create new packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Label Design & Compliance: Create and update product labels, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements.
• Packaging Supply Management: Order and manage inventory of packaging materials, ensuring the packaging team always has what they need.
• Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with current suppliers, explore new supplier options, and negotiate pricing.
• Label Printing & Application: Operate and maintain label printers and applicators to ensure high-quality production.
• Quality Control: Inspect printed labels and packaging materials for accuracy and quality.
• Workflow Efficiency: Ensure labels are designed, printed, and applied on time as soon as compliance results are ready.
• Website Maintenance & Content Management: Maintain and update website content.
• Creative Collaboration: Work with designers and photographers to develop new packaging.
• Compliance: Ensure packaging is compliant with industry regulations, standards, and laws. Stay up to date with any changes in packaging compliance requirements and implement necessary adjustments. Maintain organized records of all design projects, including revisions, approvals, and any relevant documentation.
• Team Support: Assist the packaging team with assembling packages when needed.
• Problem Solving & Adaptability: Forecast potential supply issues and pivot as needed to meet deadlines and manage multiple moving targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with WordPress for website management
• Experience working with QR codes, barcodes, and label printing software
• Familiarity with Trello for project management
• Experience operating and maintaining label printers and applicators
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
• Previous experience in a print shop and graphic design or a Bachelor's degree in design is required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
