Position Purpose:
The Program Director is a key partner in ECHO Housing Corporation's mission to help our participants move toward self-sufficiency. The Program Director is responsible for the oversight of the organization's delivery of programming, program staff, and program-based initiatives and is accountable for meeting performance indicators and overall program compliance as it relates to staff expectations. The Program Director should be committed to the principles of honesty, openness, education, involvement, empowerment of our residents and to the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of ECHO Housing.
Description of Duties:
- Develop and oversee 8 homeless service programs which will assist current and future participants of ECHO Housing
- Supervise and manage service staff
- Assist service staff with service provision when necessary
- Ensure program success by continually monitoring key performance indicators
- Ensure programs are in compliance with all funder regulations
- Develop and deploy training programs for service staff
- Maintain a professional-level knowledge base related to homeless services, including trends and best practices at the local, state, and federal level
- Represent and promote EHC within the community; establish collaborative relationships with partner organizations
- Commit to ongoing professional development, training, and education
- Assist the CEO in researching and planning to best support programs
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Specific Tasks:
- Service Staff Hiring / Training / Mentoring
- Identify and plan initiatives centered around a positive agency culture
- Eviction Prevention Implementation & Follow-Up
- Housing Placement – Referrals & Processes
- Asset Management – HQS, regular inspections, PSH property upkeep & landlord relationships
- Program-Based Initiatives – identify, coordinate, and execute initiatives (in collaboration with Social Services Director) that will directly and indirectly support those we serve including but not limited to E3 Initiative, Harm Reduction, community connectedness. PD is responsible for staff training and implementation, SSD responsible for overall client engagement.
- Partner with landlords, community members, partners, and others when necessary to inform target audience, maintain positive community relationships, develop best practices for those we serve, and to promote awareness of what we do.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $53,550.00 per year
