ECHO Incorporated is looking for 1st Shift Machine Operator in our Molding department! The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of the injection molding machinery.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Executes tasks related to injection molding, including trimming flash material and runners, inspecting parts for defects, and counting and packaging parts.
- Reports quality issues promptly to the group leader or supervisor.
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and trims plastic parts to meet specified standards by removing excess flashing and runners.
- Conducts detailed inspections of parts for defects, immediately informing the group leader or supervisor about any issues or questionable parts.
- Accurately counts and packages parts in specified quantities, following instructions to reduce scrap.
- Keeps accurate records, logging details such as parts produced, scrap, downtime, and hourly counts for semi-automatic jobs.
- Performs additional duties and assignments as needed to support departmental and company operations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow written procedures (with Spanish translations if required) and understand verbal instructions effectively.
- Capable of standing for the entire shift and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Demonstrates basic mechanical aptitude.
- Skilled in multitasking, including accurate counting and safe operation of trimming devices and small hand tools.
- Flexible and willing to work on various production lines during downtime.
