Seeking High-Performance Chief Financial Officer (Automotive Industry)

The Relationship: As our Chief Financial Officer, you will become a key partner in developing, monitoring, governing and evaluating the overall corporate strategy, planning & analysis with a focus on bottom line financial and operating performance, while enhancing owners value. Daily dealership administrative, accounting, cash management, and operations oversight will be the primary focus. Reynolds/CDK Proficiency will be necessary to complete this job. Additional Real estate , Holding Company Asset management and investment reporting will be a function of this position. This role also includes a heavy focus on corporate finance, cash management relations, strategic growth initiatives, forecasting, predictive modeling and strategic planning for a real estate as needed. We have acquiring stores, and plan continued growth and expansion.
Who we are: We are a 70 year locally owned family operation. The group currently has 5 locations, and 9 brands. The tenure of the executive team is well over 20 years with each member in the automotive industry. This is a hands on and involved team. If you are unable to roll up your sleeve's and dig in , this is not the role for you. We are convinced that finding the right team player is the difference between normality and our group success. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with the mindset on how get things done, rather than why we can not.
Job Requirements
Maintain executive responsibility for financial operations including; working capital, capital expenditures, debt levels, taxes, budget and general accounting.
Specifically as follows:
Daily dealership administrative, accounting, cash management, and administrative operations & oversight will be the primary focus.
Daily oversight and management of all HR, Payroll, and Compliance.
Monthly oversight and inspection of all accounting schedules reconciliation , financial statement preparation, with their reporting to the executive team and owners with accuracy.
Quarterly State and Federal tax management, assessments, reporting along with any and all inventory reconciliation and adjustments as necessary.
Year End State and Federal tax management, assessments, reporting along with any and all inventory reconciliation and adjustments as necessary.
Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidations, planning and analysis
Define the financial strategy and provide useful financial insights to help make the best decisions about executing our business strategy
Establish and maintain stable cash flow management policies and procedures, and ensure cash resources are available for daily operations
Set up and/or oversee all financial and operational controls and metrics within the organization
Analyze current and future business operations and plans to determine financial effectiveness
Manage outside lending/equity relationships
Prepare and file federal, state, third-party and other financial reports to ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC, IRS and other taxing entity requirements
Build, lead and direct the administrative team
Salary : $175,000 - $250,000
