Duties & Responsibilities
- The Community Resource Specialist (CRS) will participate in activities that increase the community’s awareness of Eckerd Acadiana Wraparound Agency, establishing and maintaining referral partnerships with various community organizations and service providers.
- The CRS will assist the Executive Director to establish and maintain a functioning Community Team; developing and maintaining a list of community resources.
- Track referrals and service utilization of all CSoC youth. Understand CSoC waiver requirements to ensure compliance with service provisions.
- Maintain program entry into data systems through accurate and timely input of referrals, client and/or staff demographics, billing, attendance, event, and testing data.
- Relieve program leadership of various administrative details; coordinate and maintain effective office procedures and efficient work flow; coordinating and communicating changes to program/department staff.
- Conduct new hire orientation, ensuring the new hire completes employment-related documents and benefits enrollment..
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited College or University, in a human service related field preferred.
- 2 years of general office experience required; prior experience working with an economically disadvantaged population preferred.
- Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
