Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and history of success that spans more than 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 15 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate for our Pittsburgh, PA office.
The ideal candidate will have complex commercial litigation experience representing companies in various federal and state litigation matters and experience in all facets of litigation, including preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, handling complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) to six (6) years of commercial litigation experience
- Pennsylvania bar admission required
- Excellent academic credentials
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
- Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
- Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus
