Job Title: Data Security Engineer
Job Summary:
Skilled and experienced professional to lead the implementation and integration of Microsoft Purview and Netwrix NDC (Netwrix Data Classification) solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in data governance, compliance, and classification, along with the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure successful deployment and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Configuration:
- Design, deploy, and configure Microsoft Purview and Netwrix NDC to meet organizational data governance and compliance needs.
- Customize policies, workflows, and rules to classify and protect sensitive data effectively.
- Data Governance Strategy:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement a robust data governance framework.
- Align tools with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and organizational compliance policies.
- Integration & Optimization:
- Integrate Microsoft Purview and Netwrix NDC with existing systems, such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and other data repositories.
- Optimize solutions for scalability, performance, and ease of use.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Set up monitoring and reporting dashboards to track compliance, data classification, and usage trends.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on key metrics and areas of improvement.
- Training & Support:
- Train internal teams on the usage and benefits of Microsoft Purview and Netwrix NDC.
- Provide ongoing technical support and resolve issues related to the implemented solutions.
- Documentation:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including configuration guides, workflows, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft Purview, including Data Map, Data Catalog, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Strong knowledge of Netwrix NDC and its data classification capabilities.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience implementing data governance or compliance solutions.
- Hands-on experience with data classification, risk assessment, and policy enforcement tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Microsoft Purview, Azure, or related technologies.
- Experience with other compliance tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell).
- Experience working with financial institutions.
