The Position:
The Industry Sales Manager will drive growth within a targeted industry by developing and executing sales strategies while leading a high-performing team. This role focuses on building client relationships, achieving booking targets, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative automation solutions.
As a leader, you’ll identify market opportunities, guide your team toward success, and represent Eclipse Automation at industry events, helping to shape the future of automated manufacturing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and manage sales team performance, including coaching, setting KPIs, and providing direction to achieve booking targets.
Develop and implement industry-specific sales strategies to align with market trends, target high-potential clients, and foster strategic partnerships.
Oversee key account management, ensuring a healthy pipeline, strong client relationships, and consistent business growth.
Achieve industry booking targets by monitoring KPIs, supporting forecasting activities, and collaborating with executive leadership.
Mentor and onboard new team members by developing training materials and ensuring compliance with sales processes.
Promote collaboration by attending opportunity strategy meetings and providing input on closing strategies.
Drive cross-functional alignment to enhance project execution and maintain interdepartmental synergy.
What We’re Looking For:
An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
5 years of experience in custom automation, with a strong track record in sales and business development.
Prior experience leading high-performing sales teams, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring.
Expertise in sales strategy development, account management, and negotiation tactics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and build long-term partnerships.
Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada, up to 50% of the time.
