My client operates in residential real estate, leveraging community, togetherness, and technology.
They are seeking a controller who has worked in the tech start-up space to join their accounting team. The role will oversee accounting, tax, shared services, treasury, etc. The incumbent will report to executive leadership, work cross-functionally with other business areas, and have the opportunity to revamp/build out a best-in-class accounting function.
Key areas:
- Collaborate with strategic finance, operations, vendor management, etc
- Build a robust accounting function that will support the company as it grows
- Prepare budgets forecasts and ensure operational and capital expenditures are in line with
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and support the year-end audit
- Integration of new products, new assets, and new businesses
- Technology-based, high growth, multi-business company a plus
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, and related fields
- 10-15 years of experience
- CPA
- Previous experience in public accounting (big 4, 2nd tier, or national firm)
- Exposure having worked at a high growth, tech-enabled start-up (early stage series A to C), that preferably covers multiple locations/business products
- 4 days in office
The base is between 200k-250k plus equity
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
