We are a fine dining restaurant with a high-end bar and wine program, seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will oversee kitchen operations, developing menus that showcase fresh ingredients, steaks, and seafood.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, preferably with a degree, and at least 5 years of experience in restaurant management. They will be skilled in menu development, kitchen operations, staff training, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing seasonal menus and multi-course tasting menus
- Leading pre-shift communications and training staff
- Oversight of kitchen operations, including food preparation, consistency, and presentation
- Mentoring team members to achieve excellence in cooking techniques and presentation
- Collaboration with the General Manager to maintain staff schedules and control costs
- Purchasing and inventory management of food and supplies
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
