THE OPPORTUNITY:
Eco is hiring an experienced HR Administrator to support our continued growth. This position will be the primary point of contact for new hires within the HR department. Qualified candidates with a proven HR background are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
The HR Admin will support all facets of the Eco Plumbers, Electricians, and HVAC Technicians Human Resources Department. This role will assist with various HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits administration, and culture and events. The HR Admin will also support the Eco University skilled trades training program.
Shift:
Full-time, in-office position.
Monday through Friday, standard business hours (Start time to be determined, between 7 and 8 AM).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies for entry-level positions, including but not limited to posting jobs, reviewing applications, conducting phone screens, attending job fairs, and utilizing social media platforms.
- Schedule and lead open houses and virtual tours for recruitment, act as a brand ambassador and showcase Eco's positive work environment.
- Perform new hire orientations weekly and create training plans to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
- Oversee the Eco University calendar and events, coordinating schedules and logistics.
- Participate in the Culture & Events committee, manage vendor relationships, and support onsite events.
- Assist with corporate catering needs, including ordering, setup, and cleanup for various company events.
- Produce the monthly company newsletter, keeping employees informed and engaged.
- Assist with scheduling company events and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
- Support the benefits administration process, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely processing.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to ensure alignment and efficiency in HR operations.
- Maintain HR databases and documentation, drive folders, and the employee portal, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible.
- Maintain a professional appearance and be thoroughly knowledgeable about all company policies, missions, growth plans, and staffing budgets.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.1
- 1-3 years of proven experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a trades or labor-related company.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proficient in various HRIS functions, including employee data management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Passion for the trades and a genuine interest in supporting Eco's mission and values.
