Key Responsibilities:
- Storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in production.
- Recording and entering data such as ingredient measurements, weights, and temperatures into databases.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues with production equipment and processes.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality regulations at the company, local, state, and federal levels.
- Reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the planning and improvement of production processes and product quality.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the production process runs smoothly.
- Meeting the physical demands of the role, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing protective gear.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in a related field may be required.
- Experience operating forklifts may be preferred or necessary.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and mechanical systems.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with a focus on improving processes and product quality in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to following safety and quality protocols, including wearing protective equipment as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Willingness to perform other assigned duties as required.
