Description : Summary :
A Quality Manager at ecoat.us is responsible for the oversight and implementation of our quality management system. Working well in teams from diverse backgrounds as both a leader and an individual contributor is required.
Key Responsibilities :
Quality System Oversight :
Develop, implement, and maintain a quality management system (QMS) that complies with ISO 9001 : 2015.
Ensure the QMS is suitable, adequate, effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic direction.
Audits and maintains ISO System.
Leadership and Commitment :
Take accountability for the effectiveness of the quality management system.
Ensure the quality policy and quality objectives are established and compatible with the organization’s context and strategic direction.
Promote the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking.
Resource Management :
Ensure that resources needed for the QMS are available.
Determine and provide necessary personnel for the effective implementation and control of QMS processes.
Assign and communicate responsibilities and authorities within the organization.
Competence and Training :
Determine the necessary competence of personnel affecting the QMS.
Ensure personnel are competent based on education, training, experience, and ongoing evaluations.
Process Management :
Identify, implement, and manage processes required for the QMS and their interactions.
Determine and apply criteria and methods to ensure effective operation and control of these processes.
Evaluate processes and implement changes as needed to achieve intended results.
Monitors performance of self while teaching co-workers how to improve or take corrective action of any necessary changes.
Continuous Improvement :
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Improve products and services to meet current and future customer needs and expectations.
Address and reduce undesired effects within the QMS.
Communicates quality control information to all relevant departments, outside vendors and customers.
Customer Focus :
Ensure a customer-focused approach throughout the organization.
Promote the importance of meeting customer requirements and enhancing satisfaction.
Performance Reporting :
Report on QMS performance, opportunities for improvement, and any necessary changes to top management.
Coordinate management reviews to ensure the QMS’s continuing suitability, adequacy, effectiveness, and alignment with the strategic direction.
Qualifications :
Education in a relevant field such as Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in quality management and QMS, particularly ISO 9001 : 2015.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Computer skills required include Apple and Microsoft technology including but not limited to spreadsheets, word processing with ability to acclimate to computer based systems.
Competence in risk-based thinking and process management.
Goals :
Ensure the effective implementation of the QMS across all organizational levels.
Maintain the integrity of the QMS during planned changes.
Enhance customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and meeting customer requirements.
