What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integration Architect position at Ecom Industries?
SUMMARY
The Integration Architect is a key driver for developing robust, forward-thinking solutions for our enterprise software systems and infrastructure. The Integration Architect will use their enthusiasm for innovation to be a thought leader and provide technical guidance to propose modern solutions and then leads the team in hands-on execution. The Integration Architect is expected to propose and develop solutions that consider all aspects of the solution's life span, from strategic business needs and a well architected design to efficient long-term maintenance and support utilizing software development best practices, proper design patterns and reusable solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hands-on role in the architecture, design, development and maintenance of IT solutions, services and initiatives
- Identify and present opportunities to transform the current architecture to be "cloud agnostic", leveraging reusability, integrations and automation to reduce manual efforts and increase efficiencies
- Help develop roadmap and deliverables to achieve "high-availability, always-on" hybrid cloud vision
- Collaborate and lead through execution the vision to modernize integration footprint, focusing on technologies, frameworks and best practices.
- Focus on "highly cohesive, loosely coupled" solutions that allow IT to adapt to the business' needs.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs, cost savings and other relevant factors
- Creates a collaborative delivery environment by building and fostering relationships through all aspects of work
- Responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest software, development and automation trends and recommends modernization solutions and plans
- Begins all efforts with a "QA and Security First" mentality
- Present solutions (including requirements and design) to non-technical stakeholders (including executive-level) in a non-technical format
- Hands-on collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and users developing requirements and design documentation, aligning with strategy
- Mentoring and teaching techniques, processes and technologies to others
- Assist in troubleshooting real-time production issues and help provide resolution
- Utilizes accepted methodologies and tools in a disciplined manner.
- Have good written and oral communication skills and be comfortable communicating with non-technical people and explaining technical concepts in a non-technical manner
- Be a team player with good time managements skills and able to work unsupervised to meet deadlines
- Other duties as assigned
