Job Title: Production Associate
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: Monday through Friday 6:30am-2:30pm
We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a Production Technician on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm. This exciting role involves performing light secondary work such as cleaning & washing parts, deburring, buffing, TFE, straightening and simple machining.
Responsibilities would include:
Performing light secondary deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of parts.
Performing drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work and simple machining.
Running machinery following all processes and procedures, including soap/detergent usage, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, waste cleanup and more.
Transferring material and parts from one location to another, including loading parts into machinery properly.
Working from blueprints and other technical documents.
Checking finished items for quality.
Performing preventative maintenance on equipment. Includes removal of any foreign matter.
Reporting defective material, any unusual condition or circumstance to supervisor.
Following standard practices and procedures as outlined by company policy.
Skills and experience required:
High school degree or GED
Strong fine motor skills
Good math skills
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers
Minimum of one year manufacturing experience and/or training
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $17.00 - $17.75 per hour
