Production Worker

Position: Light Industrial - Production Associate
Location: 69 Meadowbrook Drive, Milford, New Hampshire 03055
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 2:30 pm
Pay Rate: $17.75/hr

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team on the 1st shift. This position involves performing light secondary operations and ensuring high-quality production standards in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform light secondary tasks such as deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of parts.
• Operate machinery for processes like drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work, and simple machining.
• Follow all procedures for machinery operation, including soap/detergent use, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, and waste cleanup.
• Transfer materials and parts, ensuring proper placement in machinery.
• Work from blueprints and technical documents to complete tasks accurately.
• Inspect finished items to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, including removing foreign matter.
• Report defective materials, unusual conditions, or issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow standard company practices and procedures.

Skills and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong fine motor skills for precision tasks.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
• At least one year of manufacturing experience and/or training.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• simple machining: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cutting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
• Machine operation: 1 year (Preferred)
