Responsibilities
- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Manage reservations and handle guest requests via phone systems and in-person interactions.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining high standards of guest relations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Uphold the hotel's policies and procedures while promoting a positive atmosphere for guests and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or guest services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality practices and principles.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in multilingual or bilingual capabilities being an advantage.
- Ability to operate phone systems efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management education is a plus.
