What are the responsibilities and job description for the Injection Mold Setter position at Ecoplastic America Corporation?
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Mold Setter to join our MyEco team. The successful candidate will work closely under the guidance of the Injection Molding Supervisor to support the production area and ensure that safety, quality, and delivery targets are met. This role is critical in maintaining the highest production efficiencies and satisfying customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Set up molds within an injection molding machine, ensuring proper alignment, connections, and process parameters are set to produce high-quality plastic parts
- load molds, connect auxiliary equipment, and adjust machine settings
- perform initial quality checks to start production runs
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following established safety policies and procedures.
- Support the Production Supervisor and Leads in daily operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Learn and adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and performance.
- Help manage workflow within the department to ensure on-time delivery of quality products to both internal and external customers.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the use and maintenance of production tools and equipment.
- Provide support in tracking departmental performance measures and visual controls.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance employee relations and overall production effectiveness.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, always exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor.
Qualifications:
- 1-year of direct injection machine experience
- 1-year of experience with large cranes
- 1-year continuous work experience required
