What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Maintenance Supervisor position at ECOPOL S.p.A.?

Position:
The Plant Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the maintenance team and coordination of maintenance activities. Reports to the Site Operations Manager and will take care of the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance at the Griffin, GA facility in order to guarantee the correct functioning of the machinery and industrial equipment.
- Coordinate Maintenance Technicians
- In collaboration with the Site Operations Manager, He/She is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance and technical improvements to production machinery and facility.
- Restoration of the functioning of the machines, the prevention of breakdowns and anomalies and, in part, the improvement of the means of work.
- Acting on faulty machine following requests for intervention, and a second intervention represented by the revision and / or execution of complex repairs with the machine stopped and / or in an area set up for these purposes.
- He/She collaborate in identifying imperfections in the machinery and their causes; disassemble parts to locate and eliminate faults;
- Ensure periodic maintenance work and recurring inspections are performed
- Handle improvement recommendations for plant equipment reliability and maintenance-related problems solving.
- Give guidance and monitor the performance of maintenance technicians
- Help to implement and sustain continuous improvement within the maintenance department
- Assist with hiring of maintenance personnel
- Check and repair according to established procedures and at the end of each work performed, record the technical data relating to repair/maintenance carried out in the manner provided.
- Collaborate in designing maintenance procedures
- Maintain safety protocols for maintenance and service teams
- Forecasting and ensuring order of spare parts, while ensuring monitor of inventories
- Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment
- Definition of technical specifications of spare parts, consumables and work tools necessary for the execution of the work
- Participate to the definition of budgets and act as part of approval of expenses
- Collaborates in sourcing, commissioning and management of suppliers/subcontractors and other vendors for specialized maintenance work
- Stepping in to help coordinate more complex maintenance work
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or 4 years of Experience
- Certificate of Electromechanical Expert preferred
- Solid knowledge of inverter programming, electrical sensors and wiring diagrams;
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to think tactically and strategically
- Detail and results oriented
- Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office
