What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Clerk, 2nd Shift position at Ecore International?
Ecore is looking for a 2nd shift, Transportation Clerk to join their York, Pa team!
Hours: Monday-Friday, 5:00pm-1:00am
Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on experience)
Core Contributions:
Safely operate yard trucks, forklifts, and skid loaders for trailer swaps, yard moves, loading/unloading materials, and transporting products.
Collect and sign Bill of Ladings, accurately weigh trailers, and ensure correct documentation.
Safely maneuver bagged products through the plant and provide production teams with necessary materials to meet demands.
Maintain a clean work environment, including shipping and dock areas, and operate magnets/sweepers to prevent metal and rubber buildup.
Perform equipment inspections, report maintenance issues, and follow all safety and quality guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
Essential Experiences:
High School Diploma/GED or 4 years of transportation, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience.
12 months of forklift, skid loader, and yard truck/jockey operation.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and adapt in high-pressure environments.
Proficient in basic math and understanding units of measure.
Safety-conscious with the ability to meet physical demands of the job.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Strong communication skills and computer proficiency, with ERP experience preferred.
Salary : $18 - $20
