What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tableau Visualization Contractor position at EcoRise?
POSITION OVERVIEW
EcoRise is looking for a Tableau Visualization Contractor to work with our team and support the Gen : Thrive initiative. Gen : Thrive is a mission-driven project aimed to advancing environmental education, climate resilience and equity across K-12 schools across the country. The initial focus of the Tableau Visualization Contractor will be to prototype a new dashboard to replace our current one.
PROJECT : Build out Tableau dashboard replicating the Plotly dashapp functionality and creating a internal tracking dashboard for site metrics. Ensuring dashboards are connected to live database. Training Gen : Thrive team on the uses and functionalities of the dashboards.
TIMEFRAME : Tableau dashboard to be completed in 4-6 weeks, with possible extension to other related Tableau projects.

SCOPE OF POTENTIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Visualization
- Developing advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards
- Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping / design
- Reviewing and recreating existing systems and collaborating with teams for integration
- Testing and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues
- Creating tools to store data within the organization

TIMELINE AND COMPENSATION
Contracted position in a remote work environment starting as early as January 20th, 2025 through May 31st (bulk of the work will be Jan-Feb), 2025 with the possibility of an extension. Rate is commensurate with the production of a deliverable, with the possibility of extending project tasks upon mutual agreement.
