Southwest Regional Sales Manager
General objective of the role
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales of agricultural machinery within a designated region. The role involves overseeing existing dealer relationships, optimizing dealer performance, and driving new business opportunities by identifying future dealers and customers as well as driving revenue growth. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with dealers to ensure product availability, support, and training, ensuring the company’s agricultural machinery is effectively marketed and sold. This position requires a leader with a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster a results-oriented sales culture within the region.
Reporting lines and interactions
This role will report to the Managing Director. Internally, close collaboration with other members of the sales team and other teams of Ecorobotix Inc. is required. Externally, interaction with dealers, farmers, partners, associations, trade shows, and among others is required.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and prospect new customers across the designated region, managing all communication and driving the sales process through to contract signature.
• Engage with dealers and customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring strong order generation and relationship development.
• Assess dealer solvency, share pricing information, negotiate terms, and suggest improvements to optimize pricing strategies.
• Provide training and ongoing support to dealers, while identifying opportunities for expanding and strengthening the dealer network.
• Ensure dealers adhere to company policies, pricing, and branding standards.
• Actively participate in industry trade shows, customer demos, and events to increase visibility and drive engagement in the designated region.
• Foster collaboration and support within the dealer network to drive sales and enhance product reach.
• Create compelling content in collaboration with the marketing team to support campaigns and enhance brand presence.
• Frequent travel within designated region with occasional travel outside given region.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Agronomy, or related field.
• Six or more years of proven experience in sales and hands-on experience in agricultural product support at the dealer and/or OE level.
• Experience in Ag-tech is a plus.
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge in Agronomy related to weeding in field crops is a plus.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have a passport for international travel.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, willingness to build relationships with dealers and customers.
• High degree of independence, reliability, and initiative.
• Driven individual with systematic, goal-oriented working methods.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with clear & consistent communication.
• Computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• 50% or more travel required.
