We are hiring a Human Resource/Recruiting Coordinator to support our regional location and company-wide HR initiatives by performing the following duties.
Key Job Functions:
• Assists with recruiting efforts including:
- Sources potential candidates from various online channels and local resources
- Screens resumes/applications
- Conducts initial interviews for applicants
- Schedules interviews for hiring managers and assisting in the interview process
- Participate in job fairs and local events to attract and retain talent
- Research additional recruiting resources and builds relationships with various contacts
- Supports the onboarding process, delivering orientation to new hires
• Assists with handling employee relations issues and works closely with SVP, HR, HR Director and local management to resolve
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
• Gather feedback to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
• Promote a positive work culture by fostering open communication and collaboration.
• Provide guidance and resources to employees regarding workplace concerns, career development, and company policies.
• Collaborate with managers to address performance challenges and foster professional growth.
• Coordinate training activities for current employees through ECOS University, delivering training as needed
• Tracks training completion and regularly updates HR Director and SVP, HR with metrics
• Supports efforts for compliance with all safety-related manners for designated division
• Work closely with ECOS team members to ensure adherence to sustainability and safety procedures.
• Educate and mentor employees on sustainability practices and zero waste.
• Coordinate events to represent ECOS in the local community.
• Supports the HR Department with additional projects/tasks assigned
Requirements
In order to be successful, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources preferred
- Two to three years of HR experience
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver assignments on time
- High degree of integrity including ability to successfully deal with sensitive or confidential information
- Extreme attention to detail, especially when proof-reading
- Experience with sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and job fairs
- Experience with HR software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
