We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is essential in managing our inventory levels and procurement processes to ensure the timely availability of products while optimizing costs. You will collaborate closely with key departments to drive procurement strategies and optimize processes. This will be located as a hybrid position at our Gilbert, AZ home office.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory system and ensure optimal usage cross-functionally.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock, conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts and establishing long-term partnerships to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate timely deliveries and resolve issues.
- Analyze procurement and inventory data to forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, procurement metrics, and supplier performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in procurement and inventory management.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor procurement expenses.
- Collaborate with finance, fleet, logistics, operations, and other departments to train and align inventory and procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4 years of proven experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and multitasking capabilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices in procurement.
