Ecotech Hydro Excavation LLC, is a certified women owned small business, specializing in hydro and air excavation, utility locating and environmental services across the Mid-Atlantic region. The company is based out of Quarryville, PA and operates in the following states: Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and New Jersey. PLEASE NOTE that due to the safety sensitivity of our work we are required to complete Background Checks, Pull Driving Records, and have employees pass a pre-employment drug screen.
The Environmental Waste Support Specialist is responsible for assisting in waste profiling, approvals, documentation, scheduling, and tracking of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials while ensuring compliance with regulations and providing exceptional client support. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, strong organizational skills, and a customer service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct waste profiling and obtain necessary approvals for disposal.
- Generate and maintain manifests and labels for hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Schedule waste shipments to approved disposal facilities.
- Manage off-spec, surcharged, and rejected loads, ensuring proper resolution.
- Provide clients with requested documentation related to waste management.
- Assist clients with problem-solving and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Track and monitor waste disposal activities, maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with disposal facilities and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry best practices.
- Timely and Diligent Performance: Execute all assigned tasks in a timely and diligent manner. Treat customers with the same level of respect and consideration as any owner of Ecotech.
- Safety Training and Responsibility: Ensure you are properly trained and take responsibility for your own safety, as well as the safety of others, including Ecotech employees, customers, and the general public. This includes maintaining up-to-date certifications and licenses.
- Adherence to Safety Policies: Understand and comply with company safety policies, regulations, practices, and all applicable laws in the performance of your duties.
- Professional Conduct: Conduct yourself in a manner that positively represents both yourself and Ecotech.
- Organizational and Technical Skills: Maintain organizational skills and possess the necessary computer proficiency to accurately input work orders and record time.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience Requirements: 3-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of DOT/EPA regulations.
- OSHA/DOT/HazMat training is preferred but not required.
- Safety Priority: Must prioritize safety as a critical aspect of work.
