ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) as an Action Officer. In this role, you will play a critical role in advancing high-impact health research initiatives and facilitate the translation of transformative ideas into tangible outcomes that benefit public health at ARPA-H.
What you will do:
- Serve as an Action Officer
- Track actions including taskers, briefs, and other deliverables.
- Work closely with teams to gather insight.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of meetings.
- Coordinate and manage calendars to prioritize meetings, reviews, and discussions.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among key stakeholders involved in architecture decisions.
- Collect relevant data and information to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse team:
- Build strong relationships with scientists, engineers, and other advisors involved in the program.
- Establish effective relationships with the public and have customer service expertise.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $130,000

- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience related to federal government project management, research, or policy development within the health sector.
- Experience in supporting Government clients, including monitoring deliverables, allocating resource needs, and project workplans.
- Experience in overseeing business operations and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write reports.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
Required – Intermediate
- Education: Bachelors or Master's Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in research related to federal government project management, research, or policy development within the health sector.
- Experience in supporting Government clients, including monitoring deliverables, allocating resource needs, and project workplans.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write reports.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
Required – Advanced
- Education: Master's Degree.
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in research related to government project management, research, or policy development within the health sector.
- Experience in supporting Government clients, including monitoring deliverables, allocating resource needs, and project workplans.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write reports.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
