ECS is seeking an Innovation Team Lead to support key Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Digital Health Office (DHO) leadership. This portfolio of projects, generated through grassroots crowdsourcing initiatives, leadership directives, industry roundtables, and partnerships, requires a team of flexible and skilled program leads capable of delivering quality deliverables on tight deadlines.
The team lead will assist our clients with researching, planning, implementing, and evaluating digital health innovations and programs launching at a national level. The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional with previous experience in management consulting and/or the healthcare industry. The candidate should be innovative, agile, organized, strategic, and have a passion for joining a high-performing team that supports clients in federal health care administration and management.
The team lead will assist in launching healthcare innovations and programs at a regional or national level in collaboration with government to fund, mature, and scale said innovations.
A successful Team Lead will support the following activities:
- Manage and lead a team to support digital innovation pilots throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain key client relationships – managing meeting invites, tracking meeting actions, facilitating meetings and delivering recommendations in cohesive PowerPoint decks and other written deliverables
- Manage integrated program timelines for the successful delivery of program materials
- Deliver high quality, senior executive-level deliverables – ranging from project management plans, decks, one-pagers, and financial trackers
- Successfully communicate the status and impact of projects to the broader community
- Proactively recognize opportunities for improvement and initiates effective strategies to promote change
- Escalate risks and concerns to project leadership
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience developing detailed project documents, plans, project budgets, resource plans, and risk management plans
- Understanding and proven application of project management best practices such as PMI's PMBOK
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations
- Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and results-driven environment
- Think strategically to effectively assess and assemble solutions to meet needs
- Ability to lead projects, including reviewing team member's deliverables, providing feedback, and supporting team members' delivery work when necessary
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) proficiency
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
Req Benefits:
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
