Our company is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Level III to join our dynamic team in the National Capital Region. As a Project Manager, you will be managing and overseeing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, team leadership, stakeholder communication, risk management, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are executed according to plan, meeting all deadlines and deliverables.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide direction, support, and oversight to foster effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project outcomes.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within approved limits.
- Allocate resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes and minimize waste.
- Monitor project performance against defined metrics and KPIs.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Provide specialized project management support for VIP stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of responsiveness and attention to detail in interactions with VIPs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest project management best practices and methodologies.
- PMI, PMP or equivalent, ITIL 4 Foundation.
- Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
- Proven expertise in system administration, including server operating systems management and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to address unique and complex challenges.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate project activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in requirements documentation and business process modeling.
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to extract insights from data.
- Familiarity with industry-standard system administration tools and methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Experience with portfolio acquisition and contracts management desirable.
- Current or past DHA support experience preferred
- Support Monday β Friday work week with occasional weekend and after-hours support.
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs regularly
- Must be able to move about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving throughout facilities/site to site.
