What are the responsibilities and job description for the Third Party Inspection Program Supervisor position at ECS Florida, LLC?
- Supervise a diverse team of Code Compliance Inspectors and Project Managers, with an emphasis on technical proficiency, growth, and financial performance
- Conduct and/or assist with coaching, performance evaluations, discipline, and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
- Assist and/or be responsible for maintaining appropriate staff levels with managerial approval
- Provide necessary training and support to a team of inspectors, overseeing quality control, preparing proposals, report review and preparation, and management of projects related to building system inspections
- Conducting inspections of engineering building systems (MEP/Fire)
- Oversee schedules and review employee time and expenses to ensure they are correctly recorded and coded for billing
- Promoting safe work practices and ensuring proper PPE is used
- Participate in marketing and business development with a focus on maintaining regular client contacts
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
High School Diploma/GED required; BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection/Safety Engineering or similar degree or in lieu of education, 4 years of additional experience are required
5 years of experience related to engineering design or inspection of building mechanical, electrical, fire safety and/or plumbing systems
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire, or ICC certification as a Master Code Professional (MCP). Certified Building Official (CBO) is a plus but not required
