Role And Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and proactive HRM System Administrator to oversee the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our new Human Resource Management System (HRMS). This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth transition to the new system, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and serving as the primary administrator post-implementation. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of employee data while providing technical support to HR teams and employees. The HRMS System Administrator collaborates with HR, IT, and other departments to optimize HR processes through technology solutions.

  • Implementation Support
    • Collaborate with the HR and IT teams to manage the HRMS implementation project, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
    • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and the HRMS vendor during the implementation process.
    • Assist in system configuration, data migration, and testing activities.
    • Develop and document workflows, user guides, and training materials for the HRMS.
System Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the HRMS, responsible for system configurations, updates, and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage user roles and permissions, ensuring proper access controls.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Training and Support

  • Train HR and other department staff on using the HRMS effectively.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to system users.
  • Coordinate with the vendor for advanced technical support when needed.

Optimization and Reporting

  • Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes using the HRMS, implement system upgrades and improve system workflows for efficiency.
  • Generate HR reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making on workforce planning, compliance, and performance management.
  • Stay updated on HRMS trends and features, recommending improvements to enhance functionality.
  • Ensure HRIS processes align with legal, compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy laws, labor laws, affirmative action reporting).

$75,000-$100,000 discretionary bonus employee ownership benefits

Qualifications And Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, Oracle HCM). Preferably Workday or UKG Ready.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows, including payroll, benefits administration, and talent management.
  • Proficiency in HR data reporting and analysis, with experience using tools like Excel, API integrations, Power BI, or SQL.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and data privacy regulations (e.g. FLSA, EEOC reporting).
  • Experience with HR system configurations, data migration, integrations and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based HR technology solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Physical Requirements

  • This job operates in a professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
  • Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl.
  • This position requires the ability to lift files, open file cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary.
  • This position may occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
