A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is a credentialed medical professional with academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related diagnostic procedures.
The scope of practice includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience and completed ARDMS or ARRT (US) registration, which is the standard of practice in Ultrasound.
This position requires a PRN schedule, including call on Friday nights and possibly other nights. It also involves picking up shifts as needed for evenings, weekends and days.
