Position Summary
The Community Health Engagement Logistics Assistant transports the mobile unit to community events, healthcare locations and other events as needed in the service area of ECU Health Community Hospital, provides security and assistance to the Community Health Engagement Team during these events, and is responsible for overseeing any maintenance needed for the unit. The CHE mobile unit provides access to care either virtually or in person to the rural communities within the ECU Health service area. The Logistics Assistant provides support and works with the CHE team and partners to provide activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and improved health in the community. Activities and events include but are not limited to healthcare screenings, education sessions, health fairs, including education, employment, workforce development, economic vitality and neighborhood safety and health outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent or higher is required.
Experienced driver with ability to tow trailer. CDL license preferred.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of staff.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.

This is a PRN/As needed position - no benefits
Day shift: Events may be during the day shift or occasionally in the evening and weekends.
