Forensics Pathology in Greenville NC
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a BE/BC forensic/autopsy pathologist. Applicants should be board certified by the American Board of Pathology in either anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology and if not already certified in forensic pathology, are expected to obtain certification within one year of hire. Knowledge of principles, practices, techniques, and advances in the field of forensic pathology and medicolegal death investigation is necessary.

The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, in conjunction with ECU Health Medical Center, provides a broad range of clinical services in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology for hospital and clinic patients. The Department houses residency, cytopathology, forensic pathology, and surgical pathology fellowship programs. The mission of the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is to improve the health and well-being of the citizens of Eastern North Carolina and beyond by delivering high quality pathology services, by providing exemplary education for medical students, residents, and other health care professionals, and by creating new knowledge through research. - Center also serves at the autopsy service for ECU Health Medical Center, teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine, by completing 80-100 medical autopsies each year
