Position Summary
- Responsibility, accountability and decision-making authority for facilitating the implementation of systems, programs and strategic initiatives that advance system capability.
- Develops and aligns strategies, initiatives, supporting infrastructure, and budgets that enable the system to achieve results that align with established quality imperatives to create and sustain operational excellence.
- Communicates system objectives to staff to ensure understanding of quality goals and their alignment.
- Oversees initiatives and operations, including staff, budget, and vendor management.
- Measures effectiveness and take steps to ensure continuous improvement of system-wide performance.
- Facilitates change to advance the organization and uses resources and operational practices to drive execution of plans.
- Ensures that policies, procedures and practices are operationalized to support safe, reliable care, regulatory compliance, and fosters a continuous learning culture.
Responsibilities
- Supports the needs of the organization for clinical and management information technology and works in conjunction with key stakeholders and the information services function.
- Supports the use of technology and work processes for alignment ensuring maximum benefit is derived for providers, leadership and staff.
- Responsible for the successful performance of areas of accountability.
- Maximizes the efficiency of processes and actions to support the operations of areas of accountability.
- Sets expectations, assigns accountabilities, and measures performance against expectations in areas of accountability.
- Develops and monitors action plans to improve performance against expectations in areas of accountability. Conducts the affairs and operations of the areas of accountability in support of operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in nursing, public health, health care related, education required- or higher.
- Certification in related field (for example CPHQ, Lean) preferred 3 to 5 years manager experience in healthcare quality or performance improvement experience is required
