Position Summary
IIdentifies, transports patients to, from and within the OR Suite.
Assists with patient positioning which includes holding extremities during surgical prep, turning patients onto surgical table/frame.
Assist nursing staff with retrieving and returning equipment, supplies, implants. Assembles and stamps paperwork, prepares equipment ie; fracture table.
Clean the OR suite according to Policy and Procedure between cases and is responsible for terminal cleaning of the suite. Transport specimens, lab work, patients beds to and from the OR. Does shave prep of patient.
Minimum Requirements
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher
Less than 2 years of experience no certification. With 2 years and certification promote to II. With 5 years no certification promote to II
