ECU Health Wellness Centers are medical fitness facilities designed to empower members to achieve optimal health. Each of the three locations-Greenville, Washington and Ahoskie-offer a broad range of exercise, aquatic and wellness services for all ages and fitness levels, including personal training, group fitness classes, Exercise is Medicine programs, massage therapy, nutrition counseling and more.
Position Summary
Leadership accountability for overall performance of team, service quality and effectiveness, and contribution to organizational mission and priorities. Contribute to strategy development and evaluation and overall leadership and success of the facility and organization. Scope of oversight includes land and/or aquatic exercise services, programs, equipment, staff, operations, and customer experience.
Minimum Requirements
American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Approved Specialty Certification from approved, accredited, national organization for specialty instruction.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in exercise science, physiology, fitness, sports management or related.
5-7 years related experience, in exercise/fitness industry including minimum of 3 years leadership experience.
NCCA accredited certification required
