Overview:

Based in Lake Wylie/Clover, South Carolina, ECUTEC provides NDT testing equipment, calibration standards, probes, machining and EDM services and much more to its industry partners. Due to growth, ECUTEC seeks an Assistant Office Manager / Bookkeeper who is a self-starter, energetic, and tech-savvy. This person will be responsible for assisting the Office Manager and President.

Essential functions include:

  • Daily packaging of outbound shipments, including export documentation, shipping labels and communication to the customers
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks
  • Prepare and send technical quotations in response to customer requests
  • Answer phone calls and take/deliver messages
  • Overseeing clerical tasks, such as sorting/sending mail and maintaining electronic and physical files
  • Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
  • Collaborating in organizing and keeping the office tidy

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in QuickBooks
  • Ability to maintain efficiency and accuracy in daily packaging and freight preperation tasks
  • Able to perform data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Flexibility and the ability to prioritize new tasks as they come in
  • Great interpersonal communication
  • Outstanding time management and customer service
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High level of integrity and regard for confidentiality
  • Works well independently but also thrives in a collaborative, team environment
  • Positive and friendly disposition
