Our busy restaurant is looking for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing clients with an exceptional dining experience. We need an experienced cook who is comfortable with a variety of cooking techniques. Our ideal applicant is a team player who can successfully communicate with other kitchen staff to keep our restaurant running efficiently. Compensation :
Earn up to $20.00 per hour with tip pool!
Responsibilities :
Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
Prepare food orders on the line by cooking items to order, grilling, broiling, sauteing and meet all presentation guidelines and follow standard recipes
Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude
Maintain work stations, including all countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition per health and safety regulations
Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift
Qualifications :
Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
