POSITION: DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
EFFECTIVE DATE: JULY 1, 2025
REPORTS TO: SUPERINTENDENT
COMPENSATION: COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE
JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Human Resources has functional responsibility for the overall administration, coordination, and implementation of all programs within personnel administration. Programs include recruitment, hiring, new employee orientation, performance appraisal, wage and benefit administration, collective bargaining unit compliance, data collection and interpretation.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in job related area. Certification required; prefer PHR/SPHR certification. Five years’ experience in school administration is preferable as a principal or a supervisory capacity in human resources. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and Board of School Directors. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, the management team, and the Board of School Directors.
