Service Advisor Responsibilities
- Outstanding customer service!
- Build trust and respect with customers, listen and repeat back
- Use active listening to engage and understand their vehicle issues and concerns
- Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians
- Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers and ability to advise and sell needed work
- Follow up, keeping customer updated on their vehicles through the repair process
- Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times
- Answer phones promptly throughout the day
- Be helpful & accommodating (scheduling and transportation)
- Prominently display current promotions
Service Advisor Qualifications
- Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with customers required.
- CDK experience very helpful.
- Auto Dealership Service Advisor Experience
- Basic knowledge of automotive mechanical operations
- Good computer, customer service, and communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced team environment
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
- Well-groomed, professional appearance
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background, MVR, and drug screen.
