Position Description :
Performs duties to receive, stock, and manage inventory of spare parts for the maintenance department with safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Performs Physical Inventory, cycle counts and audits of stock items
- Receives UPS, FedEx and other deliveries
- Distributes packages to appropriate departments
- Receives stock and direct issue items within EAM (CMMS)
- Communicate with and notify Planner / Scheduler of Planned Parts received
- Prints barcode labels / tags for new inventory and stores items in the established inventory location
- Creates part numbers and inventory locations for new items
- Provides assistance to mechanics and operators in locating parts
- Restocking of unused items
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of the storeroom area, shelving, and cabinets
- Performs other duties as assigned
