Cook & Chill Tech - 3rd Shift

Position Description :

Perform duties to ensure proper cook and chill methods are conducted in accordance with product specification and USDA regulations.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Prepare cook or chill tanks by filling and setting temperatures
• Prepare dollies for cook process
• Monitor tank water levels, temperatures, and equipment performance throughout the cook / chill processes, making adjustments as needed
• Record product and cook information on appropriate forms or enter into computer system
• Select appropriate recipe programs in computer system
• Pull racks of product and move to next phase of process
• Conduct hand probe temperature readings on cooked product
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with employee and food safety procedures, rules, and regulations
• Operate jeep / walker for the movement of product
• Complies with and adheres to all employee safety and food safety programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
