Ed Morse is currently seeking an Vehicle Inventory Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Receive new vehicles from manufacturers or auctions, verifying details against purchase orders.
- Oversee dealer trade transactions, ensuring proper documentation and facilitating vehicle exchanges between dealerships.
- Receive new vehicles from manufacturers or auctions, verify details against purchase orders, and ensure accurate recording of VIN, condition, mileage, and pricing.
- Track and maintain accurate inventory records, including new, used, and loaner vehicles. Update inventory systems regularly to reflect new arrivals, sales, and transfers.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Work with sales, finance, and other departments to reconcile any inventory-related issues.
- Track and manage floor plan payments, ensuring timely payments to manufacturers or auction houses. Keep accurate records of floor plan transactions and work with accounting to reconcile payments.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or understocking, and schedule vehicle deliveries, pick-ups, inspections, and related tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience required.
- Automotive dealership experience is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Excel and Word.
- Strong written, verbal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and communicate clearly
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
