What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foreman position at Ed's Concrete Construction?
Due to our rapid expansion, Ed's Concrete Construction is looking for an experienced concrete foreman to join their team! ECC is a Columbus based concrete contractor working in residential and commercial spaces. If you are an experienced concrete contractor, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities Include:
- Fully responsible for safely and productively completing foundations on assigned projects.
- Supervise the work of crew members responsible for laying out, excavating, setting anchor bolts, tie rebar, preparing, placing, finishing and curing concrete.
- Run a safe job site, responsible for the safety of crew members.
- Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members.
- Coordinating with inspectors and general contractor.
- Resolving all problems that may affect project quality and completion.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience as a concrete foreman
- Ability to read plans and perform layout
- Set grades
- Measuring for concrete
- Set anchor bolts
- Familiar with excavation
- Excellent management, organization and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to lead and supervise
- Safe driving record for our insurance to cover you
