Job Description
MUST BE US CITIZEN WITH Active Secret or DHS Clarance!

SYSTEMS ENGINEER - Washington, D.C. Metro Area - Hybrid Remote
- Manage permissions and controls using Active Directory
- Support OIG Forensic Computer Lab, a stand-alone small data center that is used for agents to do their investigations.
- Utilize Hyper-V cluster hosting 15 servers consisting of Windows, Linux, and Unix.
- Create, deploy, and administer solutions for business growth and development, especially in fields of high availability and security.
- Manage servers, data, networking components across Linux and Windows platforms and infrastructures.
- Excellent social, social, verbal, and written communications skills to interface with all levels of users, manager, technical staff, and customers.
- Skilled problem identifier and troubleshooter able to make quick decisions to restore data flow.
- Manage servers, data, and networking components across Linux and Windows platforms and infrastructures.
- Analyze network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems.
- Develop and design network architecture and computer systems infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 6 years of above referenced skills, including MS AD and Linux, with MS “Hyper V”, (a.k.a. VIRIDIAN or WIN Server Virtualization), and Team Lead experience, in a Federal Government enterprise environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS/BA STEM Degree or Related Fields
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s): CompTIA Security with CCNA, or/and Network , and/or Project
REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Secret or DHS.
