Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Department: Denver Home Office
Programs: All Programs
Location: Denver, CO. This is an on-site position.
FLSA: Salary, Exempt
Compensation: $70000-$110000
Summary of Major Functions:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on end-to-end recruitment, often for specialized positions. Responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees for the organization. Factor in the long-term goals of the organization and acknowledge that people play a huge role in our company’s future success. The Talent Acquisition Specialist has the organizational task of finding the most suitable person for a position and maintaining and growing the culture of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events, and job fairs.
- Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization.
- Source candidates and fill in vacant positions within the company.
- Understand strategic hiring goals of the business.
- Anticipate future hiring needs by analyzing the organization's development.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Using standardized screening techniques, assess the skills, qualifications, and experience of potential candidates.
- Schedule interviews of candidates and hiring managers; coordinate team interviews.
- Prepare candidates for interviews.
- Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications.
- Properly document recruiting actions and process steps in ATS.
- Counsel candidates regarding salary, company benefits, and work environment.
- Extend offers to successful candidates and manage salary negotiations.
- Along with the hiring managers and HR, ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
- Meet with executive leadership to have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and available positions within the company.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the role and key attributes required and develop job descriptions for new roles.
- Stay updated and well-researched with talent acquisition trends.
- Provide feedback to improve recruiting policies and practices; including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and other areas in which the company may not be competitive within the market.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation in all states that the company operates.
- On a monthly basis prepare reports communicating key talent acquisition metrics.
- Other job duties as may reasonably be assigned.

- Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any questions a potential hire may have.
- Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in using company HRIS & ATS software to connect with and reach out to potential candidates.
- Familiarity with job boards and resume databases.
- Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies.
- A team player.

- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/business/marketing/provider relations/ or related field preferred.
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred.
- Work experience of 3 years as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role in HR required
- Previous experience seeking talent recruitment and assisting with onboarding processes required.
- Experience working within the mental and behavioral health field strongly preferred.
Computer Skills:
- Must be able to effectively maneuver within an HRIS and ATS system.
- Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within various job boards and recruitment sites.
Physical Demands and Environment:
Physical demands of this job include but are NOT limited to:
Sitting frequently, standing occasionally, walking occasionally, talking constantly, hearing constantly, seeing constantly, reaching with arms and hands occasionally, crouching occasionally and using fingers intricately. This position requires lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds occasionally.
Environmental conditions of this job include but are NOT limited to:
99% inside, 99% normal temperature and 99% normal noise as expected in a medical office environment.
