We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to oversee our electrical engineering department in Tijuana. This role is crucial for leading both hardware and software development projects for our industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the electrical engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of electrical hardware systems and software solutions for industrial machinery.
- Oversee the creation and integration of control systems, including PLC programming and embedded system development.
- Ensure all electrical designs and implementations enhance functionality, efficiency, and compliance with international standards.
- Foster innovation in process automation and system integration, utilizing the latest advancements in technology.
- Coordinate with other department heads to ensure projects are aligned with overall company objectives and customer needs.
- Mentor and develop team members through technical guidance and career development plans.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in system design and functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in electrical engineering with a focus on both hardware and software aspects, particularly in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience in leading and managing an engineering team.
- Extensive knowledge of PLC systems, embedded systems, and software programming.
- Strong project management skills and experience in managing large-scale engineering projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
