As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our team in Houston.

Job Description :

We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineering Manager who has extensive experience in embedded system design, including both hardware and software components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment design and be capable of leading projects from concept through production.

Responsibilities :

Leadership and Project Management :

Lead a team of electrical engineers in the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products.

Manage all phases of electrical design projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.

Mentor and develop staff through hands-on guidance and professional growth opportunities.

Embedded System Design :

Design and develop complex embedded systems for industrial applications, including both hardware schematics and software programming.

Oversee the integration of these systems with mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Ensure all designs meet functional requirements, regulatory compliance, and are optimized for manufacturability.

Technical Problem Solving :

Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues related to electrical systems in industrial equipment.

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product development and manufacturing processes.

Collaboration and Communication :

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.

Communicate technical plans and progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement :

Stay abreast of the latest in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in electrical design and processes.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Proven experience in embedded systems design, both hardware and software.

Strong background in industrial equipment design is highly desirable.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership role.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
