Compensation: $50,000 Annual Salary Commissions.

Position Overview: We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the charge in sourcing and on-boarding new property owners to our platform. Your mission is to identify high-potential short-term vacation rental prospects, build lasting relationships, and drive growth by expanding our portfolio of managed properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with property owners and real estate investors interested in short-term vacation rentals in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, networking events, and partnerships with real estate professionals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through on-boarding, including presentations, contract negotiation, and hand off to Operations.
- Develop and execute portfolio growth strategies in line with company goals.
- Maintain an up-to-date CRM with lead and prospect information, pipeline status, and activity tracking.
- Meet with prospective owners and inspect potential units prior to on-boarding to ensure they meet the brand standards of our portfolio.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless on-boarding and success for new owners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and local meetups to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Continuously analyze local market trends to identify expansion opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management—experience in real estate, property management, or hospitality strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven by results.
- Familiarity with short-term rental platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo) and property management systems is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and education
- Grounded in ethical business practices
- Solid computer skills including experience with G Suite and cloud computing programs
- Traveling within specific market is frequent and this person will need their own reliable vehicle, valid driver license and maintain an auto liability insurance policy that adequately covers the vehicle for business use.
- Must live in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, this is not a remote assignment.
